Program and Project Manager

Experienced Program and Project Manager with demonstrated success in program management, project management, governance, change management; strong experience in business operations analysis & integration, business strategy, executive reporting, and software development. 14 years in Financial Services across Transfer Agency, ’40 Act Mutual Funds, Alternative Assets, Middle/Back Office, Client Servicing, M&A Integrations, Vendor Oversight, Application Development/Launch, and Strategic Programs. I am PMP® Certified and familiar with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with specific experience bridging Agile with traditional project management/executive reporting. Strong experience leading international virtual teams with colleagues from 7 different time zones and 10 different countries.

Program/Project Management

I have experience in both program management & governance, as well as direct project management execution experience; highly-valued contributor in both a Business Strategy & Technology PMO, and a M&A Integration PMO. Ownership & Execution

Leaving a meeting without specific actions can lead to a culture of passivity and “swirl.” By taking notes, distributing minutes, assigning ownership, and tracking follow-ups I drive project execution and ensure timely information. Assigning ownership and maintaining accountability helps drive decisions and identify risk items.


Agile Program Management

I managed a $14M technology program requiring coordination and collaboration with 12 development teams spread across 5 countries. I also managed the successful launch of a new wealth management product for Charles River Development, among other highlights. Understanding development sprints, release schedules, story assignment, and business/client priorities are critical when managing toward large-scale business outcomes and milestone delivery.


Workflows & Processes

Identifying how work/data move through a system(s) is critical for effective management, as well as successful change.  Using a LEAN approach, I have extensive experience identifying, documenting, and analyzing cross-functional workflows in various operational environments. I focus on Partnership with Business Units through implementation.


Business strategy

A relentless focus on maximizing business outcomes, resourcing and prioritization, mitigating risk, and developing opportunities are determinant factors for Program Management. I have worked on lift-out projects, M&A integration projects, corporate partnerships, new business/product launches, and strategic platform re-designs. In each case, I worked to focus the big-picture vision into SMART goals so the project team could drive execution.


Executive Reporting

Clear, concise, meaningful. The ability to self-edit, refine language, and tightly structure reporting is an often overlooked but critical skill. I have created and prepared numerous reporting materials, program summaries, etc. for executive consumption, including some reports which have become preferred templates.
